Help us understand the problem
A fault code, an unexpected noise or heating that only works intermittently can each point to a different issue. We do not diagnose from a description alone, but the details you share help us plan the visit and understand what your home needs.
Tell us whether hot water, central heating or both are affected, when the problem started and whether it has happened before. Include the boiler make and model, plus a clear photo of any code on its display. Keep the casing closed; there is no need to investigate inside the appliance.
A clear route from diagnosis to repair
We will discuss the reported fault and arrange an appropriate appointment, subject to availability. Once the problem has been assessed, the engineer can explain the proposed work and any parts needed. Some repairs depend on parts availability, so a same-visit fix cannot be promised in advance.
- Tell us your postcode and how to access the property.
- Share error codes exactly as they appear on the display.
- Mention any previous work on the same fault.
- Ask for the scope and price of proposed repairs before agreeing.
Repair, maintenance or replacement?
An unexpected fault does not automatically mean you need a new boiler. If repair is practical, we can discuss that option. If replacement is worth considering, we can talk through your home’s heating and hot-water requirements before quoting for an installation.
A routine service and fault diagnosis are different tasks. If your boiler is already malfunctioning, let us know before booking a service. For an urgent loss of heating or hot water, call rather than relying on a message being seen immediately.
Your questions, answered
What does a boiler repair cost?
The cost depends on the diagnosis, labour and any parts required. Ask for a quote for your fault. Emergency callouts are £140 per hour; routine repairs are quoted for the work involved.
Can you repair my boiler brand?
We work with major manufacturers including Worcester Bosch, Vaillant, Ideal, Baxi, Viessmann and Glow-worm. Send your make and model so we can confirm suitability for the job.
What if I smell gas?
For a suspected gas leak or gas emergency, call the National Gas Emergency Service on 0800 111 999. Do not use a routine repair enquiry as the emergency reporting route.
